The Cleveland Foundation has recently awarded Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland a $225,000 grant supporting our Migration and Refugee Services. This three-year renewable grant was initially awarded to Catholic Charities to open the Ohio Center for Survivors of Torture in 2016, but the center has served more survivors than initially anticipated.
The Ohio Center for Survivors of Torture (OCST) provides holistic, strengths based, trauma-informed services to survivors of torture. The OCST is a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, social workers, licensed mental health providers, employment specialists, and a partnership of community organizations.
