St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center

Every person, no matter their social standing, has been created in the image and likeness of God and is worthy of respect.

This value guides our staff at St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center as they help clients from local communities begin their pathway into recovery.

Commonly referred to as "St. John's," our new recovery outreach center was established in April 2019 to aid adult men and women struggling with addictions to drugs and alcohol by providing them a unique, self-directed approach to treatment. We offer intensive outpatient counseling, family support, pregnancy/postpartum care and recovery coach services.

St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center proudly partners with the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board, Summa Health System and United Way of Summit County. Programs and services offered by the center are accredited by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and CARF International.

Community Block Party

On June 29th, 2022 St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center will be hosting a community block party. This is a free event that is open to anyone! Join us for free food, games, and fun! We will have Community Resource Tables setup to connect you with resources in the Akron community. Check out the flyer for more details!
