“Mercy, Scripture, Prayer: Nurturing the Heart of Your Ministry”
Pope Francis has called us to reflect, pray, and love all people during this Year of Mercy. Join us at St. Ambrose for a day of reflection, learning, and prayer in Christian community with your brothers and sisters in Christ who serve in youth ministry throughout the Diocese of Cleveland.
“All life is a series of relationships, in which we learn to love God and others. Everything else either contributes to that or distracts us from it. Whether or not we have effective ministry depends on the quality of our relationships.” Pat Rinker
Pat Rinker is our facilitator for the day. Pat is the author of You’re Worth It, a scriptural devotional book for teens that helps them to love God with their whole heart, mind, soul and strength, and love their neighbor as themselves. http://youre-worth-it.org/
Pat has served in ministry in Catholic high schools, parishes, and diocesan youth, young adult, and family ministry in the Lansing Diocese. He has a B.A. in Theology and English from Aquinas College and an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Regis University in Denver and is a certified Lay Ecclesial Minister in Youth Ministry, Catechesis, and Pastoral Ministry.
