The Catholic Action Commission of Lorain County will be celebrating our 29th Annual Peace & Justice Dinner on Saturday, March 23, 2019, hosted once again by the gracious staff at St Vincent de Paul Parish, 41295 North Ridge Rd, Elyria 44035. Social hour begins at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm. RSVP and get your tickets today!
CACLC has had a longstanding tradition of social justice work in Lorain County, dating back to 1988. As we continue to build the common good, CACLC is dedicated to addressing issues such as Justice for Immigrants, the Abolition of the Death Penalty, an End to Human Trafficking, Promoting Peacemaking, and Caring for the Earth and God’s Creation. It is only through the generous financial support we receive through our Annual Peace & Justice Dinner that we can continue to address these concerns.
Our annual dinner is also our opportunity to recognize and celebrate the tireless efforts of ministers and advocates who faithfully live out the traditions of Catholic Social Teaching. We honor our community members with an annual presentation of the Faithful Servant and the Bishop AJ Quinn Justice awards, in addition to other acknowledgements of service and advocacy.
Join us as we come together in faith, love, peace, and justice in order to continue doing the work that responds to our Gospel call! In order to contribute to this work in Lorain County and beyond, please consider supporting our dinner with a reservation, a named patronage, an advertisement, an item donation, or simply by spreading the word.
Appropriate forms are included below.
We thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
