Camp Happiness Match Challenge
The Logsdon Family Foundation has challenged us to a $10,000 Match Challenge. They will donate $10,000 to Camp Happiness if we can raise $10,000!!!
All donations will be used to send kids with disabilities to Camp Happiness, a six week day camp from June 18 to July 27.
We can’t think of a better way to raise awareness for persons with developmental disabilities! And we can’t think of a better outcome – children attending summer camp.
Our families struggle to send their kids to camp each year. Yet camp is so important for these kids socially! One of our parents has said that Camp Happiness was like family within minutes of meeting the staff and that they love that their child comes home dirty like he would at any other camp! Another camper calls camp “Camp Happy Feet”!
Are you up for the Match Challenge for Camp Happiness? Any amount will help and is appreciated by the many families who can’t afford camp!
- A $10 donation will pay for a child’s field trip to the History Museum
- $50 will pay for one site to go swimming for one day
- $350 will pay for one camper to go to one week of camp
- $2,100 will pay for one child to go to camp for all six weeks
- Can you imagine what $20,000 will do?
Consider assisting kids get dirty at Camp Happy Feet this year!
Or you can donate by sending a check made payable to “Disability Services” to 7911 Detroit Avenue,Cleveland, OH 44102 – please mark Match Challenge in the memo line.
