Assessment:
The premise of our program is to provide job seekers with the individualized attention necessary for them to develop a total awareness of their skills, needs, strengths and abilities to promote the self-confidence required in today’s world of work. The assessment provides our Employment Coordinators with information regarding the job seeker’s basic skills and social support systems that will help them obtain employment. The data gathered during the assessment are critical in identifying the job seeker’s strengths, needs and barriers to employment and setting individualized, long and short-term career goals based on their preferences, interests and abilities. In addition, the assessment will provide information that will be used throughout engagement to assess the job seeker progress towards self sufficiency.
Case Management:
Case management services are provided to assist job seekers in their transition throughout the employment and training system; from job readiness training to job search, job placement and job retention. Case management services coordinate and implementation of the Individualize Employment Plan. The Employment Coordinators advocate for job seeker’s as they move through what can be a challenging and hopefully, a positive life-altering experience. A pre- and post- case management approach is utilized combining education, training and job placement supported by a comprehensive package of supportive services to the job seeker and employers for 180 days.
Job Placement:
Employment Training Services (ETS) provides businesses with qualified, pre-screened applicants for their hiring needs. ETS staff members assess applicants’ vocational skills, preferences and interests, prepare them for the job search process, and help them obtain suitable employment. ETS personnel support employees’ transition to new jobs and follow up to ensure long-term stability in employment. ETS’s employment services have supplied qualified job candidates to more than 300 area businesses.
Job Retention:
Retention of employees is critical for businesses’ success. ETS works beyond the hiring process to ensure newly employed workers continue to fulfill their employers’ needs. Newly placed employees are supported with a range of follow-up services during their transition to work. These services help develop skills to understand and consistently meet employers’ expectations. Workshops also help participants cope with stress and manage personal and home finances. Retention specialists help new employees become the stable, productive workers that are the foundation of any successful business. ETS’s history of success shows that we adapt our programs to meet the evolving needs of businesses.
We welcome suggestions for seminars to address any employment issues you may face. You will be invited to join our Employment and Training Services (ETS) Alumni dinners and awards ceremonies.
We encourage you to stay in touch and wish you the best!!
