Spring Sport Parents, Coaches, and Athletic Directors:
Well back from the break from the CYO spring season. Christ is Risen! Indeed…He is Risen. The Easter season is about breaking barriers; it is about accomplishing the impossible; it is about endurance through hardship and ultimate Victory through impossible pain.
This weekend, we hope you will join us for Parent’s Weekend. Please contact your child’s coach for details about your game/meet/match.
Team Mass Sunday is April 30. Please contact your Athletic Director for the details. Celebrating our Eucharist together embodies our mission and values!
As the season continues and we approach the tournaments, our culture, the “Way We Do Things Here” continues to be our primary focus. We believe that the young person, and not the athletic activity, is the primary focus of CYO. This belief calls us to display the Gospel message we hear each week when we are at home, school, work or a CYO game, meet or match. Teams, coaches, families and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that game officials and those sitting around you could see your respect and dignity towards others. This can be best achieved when we respect the decisions of the officials and treat players and opponents with Dignity!
Parents, Athletes and Coach’s Evaluations are available now! We encourage you to take a few minutes to share your experience with us. The CYO staff and CYO Athletic Advisory Committee review your feedback as they evaluate and improve CYO. There are two evaluations available, Parents/Athletes and Coaches. Please click on the link below to complete your spring season evaluation! It will only take a couple of minutes to complete, so please share your opinion.
6th, 7th, 8th, and High School Championships are right around the Corner! Reference the email you will receive for details. Please use this link tournaments for a complete list of tournament schedules.
Sport Clinics – CYO regularly receives announcements of sport clinics for the children and coaches. Appropriate information pertaining to clinics can be found on the “Clinic Information” tab. Check back often to see what new offerings our posted.
If you need to Report an Incident or Contact Us look to the CYO website. If you experience an incident such as an injury or poor behavior at a game, meet, match or practice, visit the website and click on the “Report an Incident” button to complete an on-line form to that will be sent CYO. If you have a question or unresolved issue from your Parish/School, please click on the “Contact Us” button to tell us of the issue. These two avenues of communication are reviewed daily and the messages are distributed to those that can help. Remember contact your pastoral designee first for help at your parish/school. Help us build better athletes, better people!
As always, we appreciate your support and cooperation. Thank you for choosing CYO Athletics.
