Catholic Charities Community Services of Summit County’s 2017 Partners in Giving Campaign is underway. This year’s theme is “Serving God, Serving Community.” At Catholic Charities, we strive to help give adults of all ages, children and families the recreational, spiritual and emotional support they need.
Camp Christopher – A jewel in Bath Township since 1924 offering traditional resident and day camp opportunities as well as programming for children and adults with developmental disabilities. We also offer Environmental Education programs in the spring and fall. Camp Christopher has been voted “Best in the City” two years in a row by akronlife Magazine. It is truly an adventure in mind, body and spirit. We need $30,000 to make the 2017 season the best ever and give more children opportunities to attend Camp.
Developmental Disabilities – More than 4,000 people in Summit County have developmental disabilities. Our goal is $10,000 to provide the services necessary for children from age six to adults with varying levels of disabilities in programs like SumFun Camp, Community Respite and Discovery Camp.
Your donation will make a world of difference to children and families. By Serving our Communities, we are Serving our Merciful God as well. Your gift is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
